This piece is the result of a vision brought to life through the hands of skilled craftsmen across the world. At its core is a hand-forged 5.5 lb head by ML Forged in Latvia, built with the kind of precision and character that only true forging can produce. It’s fitted to a 32" handle crafted from hickory and spalted hornbeam by Howling Winds Axe & Tool in Connecticut, blending durability with striking natural contrast. The details carry just as much intention. A laminated wedge by Gabe’s Throwfiles in Iowa secures the head with both function and visual depth, while a layered leather mask by TCB Leathercraft in Arkansas completes the build with protection and style. Every component was carefully selected, not just for performance, but for the story it tells. This isn’t just an axe, it’s a collaboration of materials, skill, and craftsmanship spanning continents. What started as an idea became something tangible through the work of makers who take pride in doing things the right way.
About the Build
Every ForceableCure axe is cleaned, re-profiled, re-hung, and hand-finished by Travis personally. No shortcuts, no machine finishing on the edge work. This piece took approximately 6–10 hours of total shop time.
Shipped in a custom wooden crate with the edge wrapped in leather and the handle wrapped in felt. Fully insured. Ships USPS Priority or UPS Ground depending on size.
