The work
Every axe sold here is a vintage piece of steel that's been hand-restored by Travis Joel Pennington — re-profiled, re-edged, and fitted with a new handle. Each axe is one-of-a-kind. The photos shown are the actual axe you'll receive.
Orders, payment, and shipping
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We don't see your card details.
- Sales tax is calculated by Stripe Tax based on your shipping address.
- Orders ship within a few business days of payment. You'll get tracking when it leaves the shop.
- Once an axe is sold, it's sold. We don't restock identical pieces because each one is unique.
Returns
Because every axe is a one-of-one restoration, we don't offer general returns. If your axe arrives damaged in shipping or has a defect we missed, email travis@forceablecure.com within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right — repair, replacement, or refund, our choice and at no cost to you.
Commissions
- Commission work begins after a quote is agreed and a deposit is paid. Deposits are non-refundable once Travis has begun sourcing or working on the piece.
- Timeline estimates are honest but not guaranteed — sourcing the right head can take time.
- Final balance is due before shipping.
Use of the site
Don't scrape, copy, or republish the photos, descriptions, or other content without permission. Don't try to break the site or interfere with other users. Reviews you submit must be honest and your own work.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Davidson County, TN.
